The hot water in Toya Bungkah is a naturally occurring phenomenon. Toya Bungkah is taken from two words, namely toya and bungkah. In Balinese, toya means water, while bungkah means stone. Literally, toya bungkah means water that comes out of rock crevices. And, this is indeed in accordance with the conditions of the Toya Bungkah hot spring which is located at the foot of Mount Batur.

This hot spring is located in Pekraman Batur Village. To reach it is not too difficult. You can travel from Denpasar City to Kintamani in Bangli. After arriving at the Penelokan area, all you have to do is find the path to Lake Batur. Here, you are also very close to the location of Toya Bungkah.

Toya Bungkah Hot Springs has become a tourist area. No wonder that visitors will be charged an entrance fee. For local tourists, a fee of IDR 50,000 per person is charged. Meanwhile, foreign tourists are pegged at a rate of US $ 10 per person. The rate also includes several amenities such as welcome juice, shampoo, soap and towels.
